About the Founder Mr. Yeogirl Yun is a technologist and entrepreneur who is passionate about developing technologies that improve people's lives. Yeogirl has founded 4 companies for the past 10 years in the Internet search engine, e-commerce industry in US, Japan, and Republic of Korea. Yeogirl founded mySimon.com in April of 1998 and served as CTO. Yeogirl raised about $30M in venture capital and was responsible for architecting and developing the mySimon web site. The site scaled to support thousands of e-commerce merchants and set a new standard in comprehensiveness. Yeogirl is the creator of the VLA (Virtual Learning Agent) technology that powered mySimon.com. It was successfully acquired by CNET in February of 2000, for $700M. In 1999, Yeogirl also founded the Wisenut.com search engine company and served as CTO. Yeogirl has a BS degree in Computer Engineering from Seoul National University and a MS degree in Computer Science from Stanford University.
